Tonight is the night! The Beard screens as part of CBC's Short Film Face Off! Make sure you tune in to the CBC - 7:00 pm (8:00 pm - Maritimes / 8:30 pm - Newfoundland)! Now in its third season on national television, CBC's Short Film Face Off consists of short films from across Canada competing against one another. The Beard film will become available for online viewing shortly after, and Canadian audiences will be able to vote on the final three films from the competition on August 31/Sept 1, 2013!

Written and directed by Yaz Rabadi, The Beard tells the story of an elderly Sikh (Sam Moses) who has been victimized as a result of his racial appearance, and how he struggles to deal with his given circumstances in the aftermath of the violent attack.
