I am thrilled to announce that The Beard has been selected to screen as part of the first annual Gladstone Hotel Film Festival - Right here in Toronto! The Beard has yet to officially screen in its home city and I'm ecstatic that it's finally getting the chance to do so! Additionally, I have been informed that I will be the recipient of an award on behalf of the festival! The Gladstone Hotel Film Festival will be celebrating some of Toronto's best short film talent! A juried show for short films, the night will be both a screening of the winning films in the Ballroom followed by an awards ceremony in the Melody Bar. Click here to view the facebook event page.

Written and directed by Yaz Rabadi, The Beard tells the story of an elderly Sikh (Sam Moses) who has been victimized as a result of his racial appearance, and how he struggles to deal with his given circumstances in the aftermath of the violent attack.
