The Beard will screen tonight as part of the first annual Gladstone Hotel Film Festival - Right here in Toronto! A juried show for short films, the night will be both a screening of the winning films in the Ballroom followed by an awards ceremony in the Melody Bar. Written and directed by Yaz Rabadi, The Beard tells the story of an elderly Sikh (Sam Moses) who has been victimized as a result of his racial appearance, and how he struggles to deal with his given circumstances in the aftermath of the violent attack.
